about us

Pregnancy is an amazing time in life. Women's bodies put forth heroic effort to create and sustain life. It is during this time that the innate wisdom of their bodies is given the opportunity to shine. shanti o'connor

Shanti O'Connor has a deep overflowing passion for birth. As a mother to two children she found giving birth to be one of the most empowering and beautiful experiences of her life. Not only was it a peak experience it was a rite of passage. She was fortunate to have loving, gentle, nurturing women who helped usher her into motherhood. This allowed her to transition into mother with confidence and joy. Her experienced taught her the power of her body and intuition. This intuition has continued to help her meet her children's needs. Her experience has informed the way she helps women learn how to listen to and trust their intuition and body. All the work she does with this organization comes from her knowledge and experience that
